Apple Cash restriction for minors?

im a minor, Ive been using applecash for a while , my dad will send me $20 for the week or will send me money in the morning before school, and yesterday it asks me to verify my account- with my ssn, address, etc... I did so and then my account was locked. This was super random. Is Apple Cash all of a sudden restricted for minors?

You have to be 18 to use Apple Cash.
