Battery usage on cellular watch V4 when away from phone.

Does the watch use more battery when your phone is not close by? I love the cellular capabilities, and don't carry my phone around most of the time. But it seems like the battery drain is much greater when I don't have my phone in my pocket.

I've tried every trick in the book to reduce drain, but still barely make it through the day on a charge.

Please advise!!

Once it's out of Bluetooth and WiFi range with the phone, it will switch to cellular. When within bluetooth range, power usage should be pretty consistent. Outside of bluetooth range, but on the same WiFi network, the drain will be higher.

The drain will be highest when it is on cellular.

I swear, my watch dies quicker if I leave my phone in my bedroom than if I keep it in my pocket (when hanging around the house/yard)

I generally do make it through the day, though, and it's great not to lug and fondle the phone like most. I saw an interview with Woz, he says as much, goes from home computer/pad to watch-only, skips the phone as much as possible.
