Watch says continue setup on iPhone but iPhone isn’t paired

Trying to pair watch to new phone. I reset watch from old phone and started pairing process. It pairing got stuck (glitch) so I went back to restart and now the watch says “continue setup on iPhone” but iPhone is trying to start from beginning.

I understand that you are running into issues with pairing your Apple Watch with a new iPhone. With the the two devices appearing to restart the process from different points, I would recommend erasing the Apple Watch and beginning the pairing process again. You can use the erase process from this support article:
