I have an issue copying files from an External disk (NTFS). I have a folder of 700 GO to copy on my computer's HD. It says that the file is too big to be copied. Is there any way to copy the file PLEASE ?

Does your Mac's hard drive have enough empty space for a 700 GB file?
Can you divvy up the file into smaller chunks? 700 GB can overwhelm the system. Also, what type of connection are you using - depending on that, it can take forever.
How much free space do you have on the destination drive?
I don't know what 700 GO is but if you mean 700GB that is huge.
I'm sorry, but I must be misunderstanding something:
You say you have 1 GB available empty space? Yet you say it has enough space? But you are trying to copy 700 GB? That does not compute.
And, Firewire is going to take at least overnight to copy something that size.
1go is free.
Yes it has enough free space. It is FireWire.
I don't know what 1go is but if you mean 1 GB then of course a 700GB folder won't fit in a 1GB space.
