Iphone 8 not showing missed call notifications

At some point in the past couple of months, my iPhone 8 has stopped giving me notifications when I miss a call. No notification appears on the lock screen and no badge appears on the phone app signifying a missed call. I'm only able to see that I've missed a call if I open the phone app because it does still show as missed on the Recents tab. Oddly, the phone app does show a badge count when I get a voicemail.

I've seen posts on other sites mentioning this issue with no resolution, but it seemed like if it was wide spread Apple would have fixed it by now, so I'm assuming it's something specific to my phone/settings/etc. I've added the picture below showing my phone notification settings, which all seem to be correct for receiving notifications.

Hey, ajayg594.

I see that you're not receiving any notification when you've missed a phone call. You have the Phone notifications set up correctly, however, and I'm glad to help.

Change notification settings on iPhone -- First, turn off Notifications for the Phone application, then restart your phone Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Once it's back to the home screen, turn Notifications back on and test the issue.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- If the issues persists, please be sure to have a fresh backup to keep your personal information safe.

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- When an application isn't working as expected, a good step is deleting and reinstalling the app. Since you can't delete the Phone application on your iPhone, I'd like for you to reinstall iOS. The section titled "Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again" will walk you through all the steps to reinstall iOS software on your device. See if you receive a notification for missed calls now.

Let me know how that goes, and take care!
