Unusual pop ups

Hi,

Since few days I have been receiving pop ups from phone setting asking to update my Apple ID. I ignored it initially because there was no reasonable reason to update it. Later, I also started to receive pop ups asking ‘A verified phone number is required’ wherein I am asked to provide Chinese phone number. I stay in Dubai and not sure how and why this things are happening. Just to be safe from any hacking I went on my laptop to change my Apple ID password and did so, but that didn’t stop anything. I then updated new password of Apple ID on my iPhone but not sure what about Chinese number pop up.
