Outlook olm file

I'm trying to link to an olm file I created, which exported my mail onto an external drive.

Now I want to link to that olm file so I can see the mail on it. Just as you can, on a PC with outlook's PST files.

The only option I have on Outlook for mac is to 'Import'. The reason I exported my mail was because I was running low on disk space. I don't want to now import that mail back onto my mac. I just want to link to the OLM file that resides on my external HD.

Is this possible? Does anyone know the steps. I've done this many times on a PC with PST files.
