Can a 3rd Gen Apple TV be connected to Bose QC35 Headphones?
no not by bluetooth it only support keyboards using bluetooth, nothing else

There are bluetooth adapters for sale, that plug in the headphone/aux socket of TVs or audio equipment.
E.g. Avantree Priva.

And does anyone know of a work-around? The TV doesn’t have Bluetooth; too old!
