Apple Cash payment to Apple Card not working

I am trying for the first time to make a payment to my new Apple Card using my Apple Cash card in the wallet app on my iPhone, or from my iPad. Neither is working, both have the same message. Both confirm that the Face ID or the Touch ID are verified but say “Payment Not Completed!”.


I can’t find any Apple support topic on this yet through my searches.


Has anyone solved this kind of thing?

Just tried paying from a bank account and that worked. The problem seems to be that I had not yet “verified my identity” on the Apple Cash card. All is solved now and both payments from the Bank Account and from the Apple Cash card went though.
