Do people still use FAX? What are you faxing? Just send an email and let the recipient print the email or attached document which will then be in hard copy just as though it was faxed. Or use a service like eFAX. Whuch service is the best? You'll have to refer to review sites for the answer to that question. But be cautious when using review sites because good reviews are often paid for.

We contemplated buying a fax machine years ago. But we decided not to. (Bought a dedicated copy machine, and have never regretted the decision.)

We found that almost every situation that requires a fax of something can be solved by sending a scanned document attached to an email instated. The most readable format by far is .pdf

If you encounter problems with document attaching, we get good results by sending an email that says, "Document to follow immediately", then sending the document, by itself, with only a Subject that says expected document attached (no text). No message, no signature.

In the extremely unlikely event you cannot get this to work with one customer, go to your local Office Supply vendor or Printshop or Shipping Service and pay them to send the fax for you.

Kinkos/FedEx provide a fax service over the counter for a small fee.
