So when I turn on my MacBook Pro after being shut down, the first thing that pops up is iTunes and it's utterly annoying because I have nothing plugged in and I already turned off the automatic syncing and it still does it. Help?

Try going to Apple menu > System Preferences > Users and Groups > Your login > Login items and see if iTunes is listed. If so, you can remove and that should stop it from popping up when you login.
