I currently have an iphone, apple watch, two ipad pro's, a macbook air, and an apple tv associated with my apple id email. The apple tv has approximately 50 purchased movies. I need to change the email address to one more current. Can anyone offer any suggestions so I will encounter the least potential problems
Change your Apple ID - https://support.apple.com/HT202667 - "Follow these steps to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID." Plus special instructions if your Apple ID ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com. You may also wish to turn off "Find My" before changing information and turn it on again afterward.
What to do after [or before] you change your Apple ID [email address] or password - "After you change your Apple ID email address or password, you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services you're using." - Or if you're seeing persistent disabled messages or repeated requests for the password to your previous Apple ID.

Home screen > Settings > [your Apple ID] > iCloud > Find My > turn on/off
You shouldn't have any problems, just log out of the account everywhere first : Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
And this will pull my movies and iTunes music to me once I sign in with the new apple id?
Your account content will stay the same, it will just have a new log-in email.
One last question. Do I need to unpair my Apple Watch? Thanks for everyone’s help.
