each time i go to make a call my phone drops from 4g to 3g and cslls wont connect??? any ideas?? ive replaced the sntenna snd turned phone on and off and checked sim csrd evdn reset network settings

Then take it back to him. He messed your phone up. You need to hold him responsible. Apple won't touch your phone after having some friend replace anything on it. That's what unsupportable means. Apple won't touch a phone serviced by anyone other than an Authorized Service. And we certainly couldn't possibly offer any advice to help you since the phone has been modified.

It sounds like your problem was not the antenna in the first place but probably the cell radio chipset. You can take it back to the 3rd party repair shop but I don't think they will be able to help you. You didn't state what model iPhone this is.

Personally I wouldn't spend any more money on it and look for a newer iPhone.

You changed the Antenna? How did you change the antenna on your iPhone? If you did ANY work on your phone yourself, you're completely on your own. Apple won't help you at all. And we certainly diagnose an issue with a phone which has been serviced by you or some shop, if you used a 3rd party service.

Sorry. I'd say it's time to get a new phone.

Unfortunately, your phone is unsupportable now that it's been tampered with.
