My daughter's iPad is stuck on split screen (Google classroom and safari) Tried to close the split screen the way we do normally. But screen just frozen nothing happens. Tried to restart the iPad (pressing power button +volume button) it won't restart too.

Done the first step, but second step doesn't come up.
Is there any other way? My daughter doesn't want to restore as she is scared that she will loose her school stuff on her ipad.

Since she cannot reset/restart, there's no other way.
You can make a genius bar appointment with Apple for an evaluation, see what other options you have if any.
What is genius bar appointment? How can I do that?

But after pressing volume up down buttons when I press and hold the power button siri comes up!
Sorry what do you meant by this:
Instead of restarting iPad, I meant what you did is to summon Siri on an iPad Pro 3rd generation.
Or simply just say "Hey Siri"
