iPad pro stuck and not responsive on split screen

Hello,

My daughter's iPad is stuck on split screen (Google classroom and safari) Tried to close the split screen the way we do normally. But screen just frozen nothing happens. Tried to restart the iPad (pressing power button +volume button) it won't restart too.

Please help!

Restart your iPad with Face ID

  1. Press and hold the Top button and either volume button until the power off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
  3. After your device turns off, press and hold the Top button again until you see the Apple logo.

  • iPad models with Face ID: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Top button until the device restarts.

You need to do it quickly otherwise

  • On iPad 3rd generation or later, press the side button for a few moments, then immediately make your Siri request.
