Will a iPhone 11 purchased in USA work overseas in UK?

I have a iPhone 5 and unlocked when I previously visited the UK I went to a local t-Mobile store in UK and purchased a temporary sim card to use while there. My question is can I do the same thing with an Unlocked iPhone 11? Or is there another option? Or feature that allows me to use my phone on trips overseas with being charged ridiculous fees?

Yes. It will work the same way if its unlocked. Nothing has changed about the way unlocked phones worked.
