Do I need a case on my iPhone XR if I have AppleCare+?

Do I need a case on my iPhone XR if I have AppleCare+? I’m going between the freedoms of going ceaseless and the protections of a case, but does AppleCare+ take care of that?

Thank you in advance!

That's up to you. Even with AppleCare, you can drop and break your phone. And even with AppleCare a replacement phone is going to cost you $$. It just won't cost you as much as a phone not covered by AppleCare. So, are you OK with still having to pay for a damaged phone?

Personal choice of course, but I won't have an iPhone that isn't in a protective case and I always add AppleCare+ to my purchases.

The phone is durable. It can be damaged as any mobile device can be by being dropped. Being totally honest, the back of the Xr glass is the most likely to be broken glass on the phone. Remember, the phone is glass Front and Back. One drop and it can break. With a case, it's much more secure.

This is again up to you. If you don't want to put anything on your phone to protect it. Just don't. It's a personal choice.

If you're wanting to see the cool color of the phone you bought, buy a clear case and let the color shine through. There are loads of options you can get on Amazon for under $10.
