apple id disabled

can u please tell me what you put in the email you sent them so i cane get this mess cleaned up.

Just happened to my phone today.. I tried to upgrade my operating system and now I can not retrieve any of my aps from itunes. I never realized how dependent I am on these conveniences. These posts were helpful, more helpful then the support emails. I will check my accounts & call CS in the AM. I can not believe that these posts go back as far as Feb. and these issues have not been prevented yet!! I may try to reset my phone but not sure it will matter & it seems like my bright ideas are making matters worse.... Oh well... Wish me luck & same to u all!

I have the same problem... Only bought my iPad today. If I knew it would be like this I wouldnt have bothered. Seems pointless now!!!

I had the same problem. Resetting passwords and security questions didn't work. Emailed Apple support and they fixed it within 36 hours.

Having the same problem, short message "Apple ID is Disabled". Changed password online and can get into Itunes through my PC just not download or update anything on my Iphone. Was surprised to see so many people with the same problem!! Called into tech support and am waiting for an email for an appt over the phone in the a.m. Guy I spoke with acted like he had no idea why this would happen. I read him some of these posts that say the same issue.

Hoping to get a quick fix. I am hopeful since several of you finally got your's fixed. Maybe this should be passed on to the news for a story!! Could be an interesting issue. Apple getting hacked after yrs of no problems. Hmmmmm!

Highly similar problem. In the midst of purchasing music for my wedding all of a sudden the next day my apple ID is disabled and paypal is freaking out on me and requires me to run through a gauntlet proving that the purchases are legitimate. I sorted everything out with paypal that evening, went through all the steps to reset my apple ID password and have been getting messages saying iCloud couldn't connect with my macbook. I discovered how to reset my iCloud apple ID but still cannot make purchases or update my apps on my laptop. Feeling like I'm being punished for a mere $80 of totally legitimate, above-the-board music when I could have gone online and simply downloaded it all for free! Frustrating!
