Updated to watchOS 6 No Longer Get Notifications on Watch

I tried this - didn’t work for me. My calendar also does not sync.

Turning wrist detection off and back on worked for me.

Restarting both my devices (phone and watch) did not work.

Thankfully, did not have to try the unpair and re-pair method.

Hello! None of the recommended fixing scenarios have worked on my watch. I have tried everything. Anyone else suggest what to do? I have an iWatch 3 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Didn't fix it for me, but doing this in order did: turn off watch, turn off phone, turn on phone, turn off watch. No reason it should work, but it did. I found the solution on another forum

I updated iOS to 13.1 and the problem is fixed. The notifications have returned well.

i too installed iOS13 on iPhone 8+ and Watch version 6 - i had to unpair watch and then re-pair - bit of a pain but worked fine for me.

This worked for me. By restarting both iPhone & iWatch on the above order.

Just wanted to throw my 2-cents in. This is what worked for my iPhone XR/Series 3. I rebooted both and all of my notifications started working again.

You may have to restart the watch again after this prodedure.

Worst update for the phone and watch I've been through in a long time.

Series 3 watch, gps and cellular

My Watch 4 stopped getting alerts after iOs 13 a few days ago and I had not updated the watch until today, hoping the watch update would fix it. Not the case. I think it was iOs 13 that caused it.

I had the same problem, so I restarted both my iPhone 8 and my Apple Watch Series 3 and it worked. Thank you.

This also worked for me, along with a restart of both devices. Worth trying before a big unpair/pair exercise while on a business trip.
