There is static in my videos !

My iPhone 8 Plus has heavy static in the audio, when recording a video. I have tested two apps. One recorded with the stock “Camera” app. And one recorded with Snapchat. It’s obviously the camera app because when recording with Snapchat the problem does not occur.

This audio static does not happen when using: Phone call, Voice Memo, FaceTime. Only when recording a video. It comes in and out and I have already tried the following:

• Removed any cases or objects from around the microphone

• Recorded in a quiet room

• And used a third party app

Please help, it’s only when using “Camera.”

I have been told by other community members that it’s a hardware problem and that I could go in for a new phone? I’d very much like to fix the phone if possible first thank you !
