synching iPhone with ios13

ok

so updated phone X to iOS 13

now when i plug it into my mac it still says do software update

seen this before in past on past updates so ignoring that.

However i cannot sync my phone with iTunes.

How do i do this ?

i cannot see it in finder as connected device

iTunes does not see it.

so how do I back it up ?

ok, started everything even though did that last night.

now they are talking and all back synching.
