Just upgraded to iOS 13 last night. Now, the volume control indicator keeps popping up randomly no matter what I'm doing. It appears on the screen for a second, disappears, and a minute later does the same thing, whether I'm placing a call or looking at my messages. Is this happening to anyone else? Any thoughts on a fix? One thing I have noticed is that it doesn't seem to do it while I'm actually on a call.

I’ve had this problem for ages. I just noticed today that Spotify on iOS synchronizes volume remotely EVEN IF IT’S IN THE BACKGROUND.
That is, if I’m playing music on a windows machine, hit volume up/down on my iPhone, volume changes on windows. The volume slider on iOS appears when I change volume in Spotify on windows. Spotify doesn’t have to be in the foreground, just not force-closed.
It appears that Spotify periodically re-syncs the volume too.
“Solution” is to force-close Spotify.
I’ve disabled system haptics under sound settings but to no avail...:(
It turned out to only be a temporary fix, still happening :(
Please post back if it works for you long term.
I have always had that setting “OFF” yet the issue always happens.
Having same problem. Latest iOS with Sony Bluetooth headset. Volume constantly pops up. All workarounds in thread don’t work.
Same here. Sony headset. And none of the above resolves the issue. Its blinking as Im typing these words. Driving me insane. COME ON, Apple!!!!

iPhone has been updated to the latest iOS 13.4 Beta 5.
Unfortunately, volume bar randomly flicks, as before.

The tips here don't work after some time. The volume slider keeps on popping up randomly when bluetooth headphones are connected. It's very annoying.
I tried everything that can be possible, i removed the headphones and turned the Bluetooth off, but still having the same problem.
This has been happening to my device since it released, iPhone 11 Pro. Even with Bluetooth off it happens. Why isn’t Apple addressing this issue?
Exactly the same issue. Happens at 70-80% Volume on Sony WI-C200 In Ear phones. AKG Y50BT & VW Caddy both seem to be immune.
Seems to settle eventually mind.
A fix would be at least appreciated
