After updating my iPhone XR with the IOS 13 update, I realized that when I press the info sign in the conversation, I cannot find any of the photos sent in the conversation. How do I get my photos back? Is there something I have to turn on or allow? How do I fix this?? This is what my screen looks like and it should show photos but it doesn’t.

You would need to look for the photos within the message thread. This was how it used to be before accessing it through info.
there is no settings that I see to revert/change it.
Thank you for the solution however it still doesn’t doesn’t help those of us who have been using the same text thread for 6 months and don’t have the time to spend scrolling upwards for an hour to try to find an old picture, and then lose all of that progress we’ve loaded as soon as we click out of the conversation. Again I know it’s not your fault
but I’m not happy with Apple for this and of yet nobody has found a permanent solution.
