Is anyone having this “issue” where after updating to ios13 you get notifications on your phone AND your watch even though your phone is off (i’m primarily talking about messages notifications).
In an Apple article (it won’t let me paste it), is states:
“Notifications go to either your Apple watch or iPhone, but not both”
But with ios13 this seems to be incorrect and I cannot find a way to adjust it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just sent a test Message to myself and it showed up on all three of my devices (Watch, iPhone & iMac) I am using the Cloud for Messages.
The same thing has been happening to me too. Have you found a solution to this problem. It’s quite frustrating. The whole point of the watch is to receive discreet silent notifications at times, but now it’s either have your phone go off or you don’t get a haptic alert on the watch.
But was your phone locked/off? And is that what happened last before upgrading to ios13?
Here is an image they used on the article, and it was the same for me before upgrading (in ios12) but now in ios13, it doesn’t do it this way anymore and there’s no way to put it back.
So mine fixed itself after a day or two. I think I was turning on and off the phone and watch a few times then randomly o just noticed it working properly. And since then (knock on wood) it has still been working.
