how do set up handoff to work from my iPhone 11pro to my mac

There may be a need to check into more than one instruction in Continuity
support page, starting with the 'hand-off' and then check or re-set others
because they can effect others if not set correctly.

Depending on the choice, one may be able to follow the function across other devices;
