COPY AND PASTE FUNCTIONALITY ON NOTES APP

Before I upgraded to iOS13, I was able to copy and paste my notes to other Apps such as Messages and WhatsApp.

I would click on my notes, click on the rounded square icon with an arrow pointing up. I would then click on the copy option and close my Notes. I would then open e.g Messages, compose a new message and paste my note then send/share.

Right now, I follow the same steps right up to when I open e.g Messages, compose a new message and when I press hard to open up the paste short cut nothing happens, it just vibrates a little bit...

Kindly assist.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having issues using the Copy/Paste feature on your iPhone running iOS 13. I’ll be happy to help.

It sounds like you’re pressing hard to bring up the bring up the option to paste your copied text. You should only need to tap to bring up the option to paste. There have been some changes to how these features work in iOS 13 and you can read more about how to use them in this article:
