Tried to update iPhone 7 to iOS 13 and now my phone is stuck on black screen with Apple logo and won't reboot, charge or get out of that screen. I tried the hard reset and new download from Mac and still have the same issue.
Have you tried doing a force update by plugging it into iTunes?
Things to keep in mind:
USB drive might be corrupted so try another computer
Charging cable might be defected
iTunes might not be up to date
I have the same problem. My iPhone 7+ overheated and the display started stuttering. I immediately switched off to let it cool down. Powered up a couple of hours later and have exactly the same symptoms. In addition, the phone is not seen by either of the two computers in my house on any USB port and different cables have been tried.
I’m booked in at a “Genius” Bar tomorrow. Given that there are a fair number reporting the same problem, I’ll be interested to hear what they come up...
I took my 7+ to my local Genius Bar. Bad news! Battery completely flat now after continuous boot loop. Not seen by computer so unable to reset. RIP logic board.
Good news! My son very kindly bought me a brand new iPhone XR.
And when that doesn't work? what next
My iPhone 7 is locked-up just a day after iOS 13 was automatically installed. I don't seem to be able to even hard close it. None of my apps respond to my touch. any suggestions.

My 7 plus will not even turn on. The apple appears for less than a second and then powers off. Help ! Good thing is the backup was successful prior to the update of death. Happy Halloween
