Apple Notes Issue

I believe I have the same issue as others. I use my Notes application frequently, and they typically link between my IPad and IPhone so that changes are reflected in both. However, occasionally when I update a note on either, it does not carry through to the other device, and in some instances it shows as just “No Additional Text” in one of the devices. I’ve tried updating my iCloud, force closing the application, and restarting the device(s) and it does not help. Any ideas what this could be or how to correct this issue?

On each iOS device, check Settings > [Your Apple ID] > iCloud and be certain "Notes" is "On".


Also check Settings > Notes and be certain:

  • The default account is iCloud
  • There is no other account choice shown
