Why is the ultra-wideangel so bad on iPhone 11 Pro?

Hi, sorry for my lack of English


Yesterday I got mine iPhone 11 Pro Max, and after some time with the camera, I can se that the quality in the ultra-wideangel is bad.


If you take the step from 0,9x to 1,0x you can really see the different like below.


Has anybody else notice that, or is it my iPhone that has a bad camera?

It would be good to be more specific as to what you mean by "bad". I see differences, but to me they can be explained by the nature of the lighting and how much dark vs. light areas you have in pairs of photographs. In the first example you have a small bright area and a lot of dark. In the second you have the same bright area but even more dark area, so the camera may end up averaging and adjusting for the entire picture, ending up slightly over-exposing the lighter areas in the second photo in order to lighten up the dark edges.
