My daughter’s dexcom g6 keeps losing data on her iPhone 6s, but her dexcom receiver never loses reception. All are connected via Bluetooth.

Hi dirk293,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. From my understanding, a third-party Bluetooth device isn’t connecting properly to your daughter’s iPhone. I’d like to share some information with you that might help.

First, follow these steps: If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Next, you might want to try unpairing, then pairing them again to her iPhone. I also recommend trying to pair it with another iOS device to further isolate the issue: Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Additionally check for sources of interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

I hope this helps get you started. Kind regards.

Not so fast. Today her Bluetooth stopped receiving data for the whole school day. I sent her several examples of fixes but apparently she was to busy to try them in school. As soon as she got home I turned off her blue tooth and back on again. That didn’t work. I than forgot the g6 device and shorty after that her phone found her g6 and wanted to pair. Back to sending data for most of the evening. Several hours late no data. I forgot device again and her phone asked if it wanted to pair now this is where it differs than the last night days. In the Bluetooth setting it will say connected or not connected. Even if her Bluetooth was receiving data the phone would say NOT connected, but tonight for the first time it said connected. So I checked her data from her g6 and it said no data. I went back to Bluetooth settings and it changed to not connected and than I went back to the g6 app and it showed her blood sugar data.
