I've been having the usual reported issues with my Series 4 not charging correctly and all my charging stands also quit working. Well, good news came today. I updated to WatchOS6 and BINGO! all my charging stands are working and my watch STAYS CHARGING!! Finally! Just goes to prove it was a software issue and not the hardware. :)

Sorry to hear that. I unpaired and wiped my watch, set it up again and upgraded it. Now I’m operating as it did new. My Apple charging cord and my 3rd party stands all work again. My 3rd party stands had an odd symptom, I had to put my watch on it “crown side down” to get it to charge at all and even then it was intermittent. All better now. As it was a software issue, I sure hope Apple doesn’t break it again with an update.
I've been having this charging problem on my series 4 SINCE updating to OS6! All chargers including the official ones. :-(
