Notes stopped rendering sketches from iPad on MacBook Pro

Hi - Notes on my MacBook Pro (13in, mid-2012, Mac OS 10.14.6) has stopped rendering sketches from Notes on the iPad (iO S 12.4.1). The note itself is synched but the content is not visible. When exporting the note on the Mac to PDF the sketch appears. Notes app is updated on both machines. Thank you for any advice in advance!

Notes Realtime Syncing I don't recall this being an issue before, but I've realized over the past few weeks that content in Notes aren't immediately syncing between macOS and iOS, at least in one direction. After typing for a bit in iOS Notes, the text immediately appears on macOS Notes. But when doing the opposite -- typing in macOS Notes -- the text does not appear on iOS Notes. Not unless I restart the app, or start typing enough for it to auto sync, and then it jumps to catch up. Am I crazy or has it never synced in realtime both directions? (This was happening with Big Sur and iOS 15 for several weeks, and still today with Monterey 12.0.1 and iOS 15.1)

PDF export of handwritten notes cuts off the note. When exporting handwritten notes from my Mac as a PDF it only exports as much of the note as would fit on a page. Everything else gets cut off rather than being put on to a new page. The last guy who posted about this got a 'turn your computer off and on again' answer from Apple. LOTS of people are complaining about this Apple - test it yourself - it's not an aberration for a few users! Anyone found a solution? Thanks. P.S - Apple doesn't give 'Notes' (and many other things) as a topic option when posting here. Wonder why that is...
