So the activation lock is on but my dad doesn’t know the email and password for the phone. We bought it from the pawn shop so we have no idea who the owner is. How can I fix this problem. Thank you for your time, Jonathan

you will need to contact the previous owner to have them log out of iCloud or go to iCloud.com/Find My Phone and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If you can’t do that, the device is useless.
