How to get Apple TV+ Free Trial with iPhone 11 Purchase

If the trial isn't showing up for you on your device, here's a solution that appears to be working for many people.

Open a desktop web browser, go to https://tv.apple.com and log in using your Apple ID credentials. You should be able to accept the 1-year free trial offer from there. Then on your iPhone, sign out of the TV app, close it, then launch the app and sign in again.

Your one-year free ‌Apple TV‌+ trial should hopefully now be active.

If you followed stpe 3 in the link above that specifically refers to the Free Year not showing up, then you will need to contact iTunes Support directly.

Fill in the following form: iTunes Store - Contact Us - Official Apple Support

The signup for that won’t start until around Nov 1. You will be able to claim the offer then.

The free year subscription does not come with an Apple Tv no. Its just the subscription, not a free Apple TV box.

You can use the subscription on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac, you don;t absolutely need an Apple TV.

Also some newer Smart TVs have the Apple Tv App built in, and you can use the subscription there too.

Apple has not said where online. It will likely be on the eligible device, in the Tv App when you sign up for it and not actually on any website.

It is not limited, any new purchase except Apple Watches, qualifies.

I had the same issue. Initially I found the promotion via an email link where I applied and accepted the offer. The next time I searched for Apple TV it appeared to only show the 7 day offer. Once I logged in it recognised my account and I had access to the 12 month offer. I still have problems with the log in each time I start and it is locking up on a regular basis. Apple really need to sort out these issues or they will lose all the customers when the 12 months expires.

The Watch is not included in the promotion.
