How to get Apple TV+ Free Trial with iPhone 11 Purchase

So it’s definitely post 1st November. I purchased the iPhone 11 from apple direct and every time I try and log into Apple TV it says it will charge me after the first 1 week trial 😳

You won't need a receipt but the subscription will not start automatically. Once the service launches it will allow users to claim the offer, within the TV app on the eligible device, and users will have up to 3 months to claim the offer.

I don’t think you will need the receipt. I think that the subscription will automatically start by the start of November
