My MacBook Air is saying that its disk is almost full. I deleted all of the photos and have stopped it from syncing with my iPhone so that I still have my photos. Why is my Mac still saying that I have 11 GB of photos on my disk?
Please post your question just once. It gets confusing. Using Photos (or iPhoto) deleting pictures is a 2 step process. Step 1 delete photos. Step 2, while still in the program, locate the Recently Deleted item in the sidebar and confirm that you want to delete them. Until you do this the computer will keep the photos on the computer for a short while just in case you deleted something accidentally.
