My new iPhone keeps asking me to put in a random Apple ID password that I have never seen before and just keeps popping up all the time , any suggestions how to stop it ?

Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
worked. Just went one by one thru the playlists and found the files in the finder and nuked them. so far so good

I took a look and it said it won't work with MacOS 10.14 and up. I'm running Catalina so it probably won't work for me. Unless you tried it on a newer MacOS and had success.
do you need a MAC to run this script? I.e can’t do it on PC?
also I deleted my entire library and still have the issue so not sure what other files might be causing the problem

CaBa2502 Have you come to any resolution on this issue with Apple? It can't be a fluke if we are all experiencing this problem. I would hope that they have delved into it and come up with a solution.
Im having the exact same issue after updating my watch and phone. Random Apple ID keeps appearing on my watch I press “later” and then it pops up on my phone. Sometimes it happens 20-30 times in a row in quick succession. I’ve erased my watch out of frustration - has anyone had a resolution to this?
I went In store they gave me the whole spiel about old music so I deleted my entire library off my account including my own purchases and now only use Spotify but this did not fix anything

I'm quite sure this happens every day to hundreds of thousands of users. I love how apple acts like they've never heard of this. It's been a problem for years. The short coming is that iTunes doesn't have an easy way for you to see what id is associated with EVERY track of music or video you have. Likely someone sent you a song (or you clicked on a phishing link and now it's in your system. I've had this problem before, and now my wife's ipad has it. I'm about to search for an apple script to show what ID is attached to an itunes file and see if I can decode it.
I haven’t called Apple care yet. Haven’t had a notification for a day though. Weird.
Odd... started happening two days ago for me too. My watch asks me to input the password for a random Apple ID email address....

Hmm I was forced to re-pair by resetting all settings.
