IOS 13 Gyroscope Calibration
I updated my iPhone 6s to ios 13 and my gyroscope will no longer work, I can’t turn my screen sideways and the compass will not move. (No, orientation lock is not on.) Any advice on how to fix this?

I have the very same problem - the screen rotation of my iPhone 6s doesn't work after the iOS 13 update. I tried updating also to iOS 13.1 but it still doesn't work.
I have downgraded to iOS 12.4.1 and everything works as expected, so it's definitely not a hardware problem, more like a bug in new iOS. Hopefuly it will be solved soon, love the Xbox One gamepad support! :)

My company's app uses Gyroscope data to calculate measurement and it is having problems ever since iOS13, I am 100% sure this is an iOS problem because I have not update that part of the code for a year ( and I also have a test phone that have iOS12 which still works).
Where were you able to find and download a version of iOS12.4.1?
I have the same problem, but the issue didn't occur until the iOS 13 update. Now apple support is telling me that it's my hardware because it's SOOOO old...
Unfortunately the downgrade to iOS 12.4.1 is no longer possible - Apple stopped signing this firmware version on October 5 2019.
I have seen reports from owners of multiple iPhone models (not only 6S) that the automatic rotation stopped working after the update to iOS13 - hopefully Apple will release a fix for this bug soon.
I can guarantee that it's not a hardware problem, the screen rotation worked fine after the downgrade to iOS 12.4.1.
BS! I have an iPhone XS and have the same problem. It did work until I updated to 13.2 and am now on 13.3 beta with the same issues. I have reported it to the beta as an issue but haven’t received a response.
I am on iPadOS 13.3 iPad Gen 6 and have noticed some strange behavior that has to be gyroscope related. I’ve picked up the Pad with the home button on the bottom and the screen is upside down. Just now I had the home screen icons oriented correctly with the home button on the bottom with the dock upside down 😬 at the top of the screen. I have no clue how it could read the gyroscope to cause this. It does correct itself if you turn the orientation but it’s definitely a problem.
Just to give a status update - I'm currently on iOS13.1 and the rotation bug still persists. After downgrading to 12.4.1, everything works correctly.
!Apple pleaseeeeee! I have the same problem is a software problem... f..k Apple
I had the same issue with iPhone se . Do general-> reset->reset all settings. FYI, You may lose all your setting.
