iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

still having Bluetooth issues with my Garmin. BUT, I have sorted the car. Unpaired my phone and then paired again with a new code. All fine in the car now😊

No, we were talking about the iPhone BT settings. Disable the contact synchronization in the BT settings of your iPhone... not your device.

Hi all, so I have now the iOS 13.2 and turned Bluetooth off and forgot my devices

then I reconnected them all back

so far (it’s been 3 days) the connection is holding. Appears to be ok now

Installed IOS 13.3.1. Now Siri audio is working in my 2015 Subaru Outback. Before Siri executed the command, but I heard no audio over Bluetooth.

I just updated to 13.3.1, which fixed the issue for me. I can now hear Siri when I'm sending messages via bluetooth in my car.

i Have same issues with sound on bt headset. turned off my apple watch. problem gone. useless apple watch now :O

Since I disconnected my Fitbit (Foreget this device in Bluetooth) and the only device my iPhone 11 is paired with is the car it has worked well for 2 days now with no issues or disconnects.

Reported to @AppleSupport. Tested with #iOS12 and #iOS13 devices. #iOS13 (iOS13.1) definitely has an issue with Bluetooth with some cars. On the other hand no issues with Apple AirPods, Bose Bluetooth devices - only with the Bluetooth in the car.

Hope that Apple will solve it soon with a new update cause pointing to a car dealer does not make any sense.

Same on my side - JLR did a software update 3 weeks ago and everything worked well until I updated to iOS13. I checked yesterday evening a small test drive:

• iOS12: my wife´s phone --> no issues
• iOS13: my phone --> interruptions for music and phone calls

Apple support tried to guide me with the reset and diagnostics. Diagnostics I accepted but the reset not as I told them that it is a known issue and I provided a links to different forums including the Twitter so they do not loop me with troubleshooting and so on...

Have any of you tried to backup the phone on the computer - and reinstall the new OS as a new phone option and then restore your phone? I did that with my phone and just mowed the lawn for an hour with no bluetooth drop. I'm going to do it with my wife's phone and see if it holds the connection on the car.

Just talked to Apple and they ran diagnostics on the hardware of iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 13.1. No issues. I referred them to this forum and told me that it might be the head unit of our cars. If the head unit can get software updates through dealer, it might be time to go into dealer for a software update.

Perhaps, but whose software, Apple or the head end manufacturer's? That's what needs to be sorted.

This is why it's important you contact Apple Support directly if you are having this issue, as then they can pass the configuration information on to the developers and they can try to figure out how things are going wrong and who needs to develop a fix.

I just got off phone with apple. We tried turning off my WiFi and the call had no problem when I turned back on the WiFi the call ended in my car. Sounds like you can not have your WiFi turned in when trying to use Bluetooth. She said that is an acceptable fix per Apple.
