iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

iPhone Pro Max here... I too am having bluetooth drop continually. Sometimes it will automatically reconnect and other times I have to manually connect. I have never had a problem with any previous iPhone and bluetooth. This is an especially big issue as we have no headphone port. Lets's get this fixed Apple!!!

Whatever it is, I sure wish they would fix it. My PRO 11 and a 2019 Jeep work well, but my wife's 11 non pro works when it wants to. In our other vehicle the non pro 11 will only connect if you force it after the vehicle is started, and you initiate a call using the steering wheel. Even then the car says no phone connected please choose a phone. She has to do this every time she leaves for work. If she forgets, and a call comes in, shes out of luck. I find it hard to believe that the pro is using a different implementation of BT than the non pro 11, and while Os 13 is tweaked for each model year of iPhone and model, there should be little difference.

To me, it is the best money I've spent a computing device in quite some time. I have zero issues with my 11 Pro Max and Bluetooth on my vehicles.

When I pay for something, I expect it to work as advertised. This iPhone 11 does not provide any vibrate or sound notification when the email app is not being used. Neither does the Bluetooth function work.

So yes, utter waste of money and not just for me it seems because thousands of other users have the same problem.

I'm on IOS 13.3, got my new iPhone 11 in December 2019. The blue tooth on the phone can’t find my Apple Watch and Fitbit. Both are working but I can’t pair my Apple Watch.

somehow it connects to my ear pods and car.

I wish I never bought the 11, iPhone 6s works great with the same IOS 13.3 but the battery dies so quickly.

My 11 doesn't work with my bt headsets but it does work with my Motorola Boom 2 Bluetooth and with the AirPods Second Generation

Yes! Same issue here! It is impossible to do a normal phone call in the car (2016 Mercedes C300). My iPhone 11 Pro drops the Bluetooth connection after 20 - 30 seconds and then reconnects and disconnects at random intervals. When will this be fixed apple???

Enjoy… but remember that if the issue is the head end, a "competitor's product" won't help you one bit.; there are many reports of Android users having issues pairing with UConnect 8.4.

This is not just a car connection problem. Our iPhone 11's won't connect to anything via Bluetooth.

Having spent over £2k on 3 new handsets, I returned 2 of them to Vodafone. The 3rd we kept as the wife doesn't need Bluetooth nor email notification.

It really is poor when having spent time and money on something that is advertised as being the top of the range that actually, it's worse than say a phone that is 3 years old. Apple know of these faults yet keep pumping them out to retailers.

having same issues, during phone calls the bluetooth connection suddenly breaks. Iphone11 os 13.3 Car Bmw g30 year 2018. Dis not have any issues with the previous Iphone8. Guess I’ll have to use the old phone instead.

William, I think a lot of us are aware this is a (some what) global issue. What is diminishing to this discussion is your assertion that this isn’t an “Apple” problem. I purchased an Apple phone, not an Android nor a Google. This is an egregious Apple problem, to me. When the vehicle software is as up to date as up to date can be and the problem persists, what is the answer? Many of us are patiently waiting...but.

The fact that Android and Google users are experiencing the same issue does not negate Apple’s responsibility to dig deep and at the very least attempt a solution. And for the record, I believe that they are.

I just bought an iPhone 11 pro, yesterday. And the issues started today, I had the same issues as everyone else. I also had bluetooth problems with my iPhone X, it's getting really annoying!! Can @apple please do anything about this.

Thanks for the idea. 13.3.1 with the U1 chip disabled has 50% worked. My wife's 2014 Nissan Pathfinder now works flawlessly. Unfortunately my 2017 MB C43 now drops once generally within one minte, and then reconnects and doesn't drop again. Every call. Ack!

Same story, just another update. Turned off the chip too. What a joke. I guess I got the phone for free.

Again, has anyone tried this with Bluetooth 5.0 gear? I am tempted to buy one at Amazon to try it out.
