iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

New iPhone 11 on iOS 13 is having Bluetooth connectivity issues.

both my daughter and I are having the similar issues.

daughters phone is an 11 64GB Purple.

mine is an 11 128GB White

Hers gets connected to her 2018 Toyota C-HR and constantly drops out. Her iPhone 7 Plus never had any issues.

I have mine connected to a Boss BT module on my motorcycle. Never had any issues with my iPhone X.

neither of our other phones we’re running iOS 13.

I updated to 13.1.2 It looks like "MOST" of my issues have been fixed with this latest update. My 2012 Scion xB stock stereo is now not dropping or getting garbled calls. My iFrogz headphones are now staying connected when paused in Pandora.

The only remaining bug(s) I'm seeing are:

  1. Hey Siri is somewhat spotty. Like the phone isn't hearing me sometimes. Very random.
  2. When placing a call via Hey Siri in my car, the bluetooth connection between my iphone 11 and my scion xB, will connect/disconnect several times before the dialing sound starts. Once the dialing starts, it stays connected.

It tells you that these problems are not universal and are usually due to the third-party devices involved.

I am on my second iPhone 11 Pro Max (the first was exchanged under warranty due to a bad ring/silent switch.)

if you want to sit here and complain that all iPhones are broken and Bluetooth never works, feel free, but it's not accurate, a fact I am sure is incredibly helpful to many.

Obviously the phone and/or Ios are at fault. If you had taken the time to read most of the posts, people are LOYAL Apple customers until Iphone 11 or the IOS update.

Those of us affected (minus you) ultimately want Apple to fix the BT connectivity issue. I don’t think anyone paid as much as they paid for the Iphone 11 just to have it NOT work.

Your posts are annoying and irritating because ALL you say is you have had no, or maybe ONE problem..

At the end of the day, most of the posts are from loyal Apple fans, and we just want a fix. You yourself stated that you had an issue with the hardware (or whatever it was), so it stands to reason that issues DO exist. Here I was thinking you had some additional insight but once again, you do NOT!

You’re not an Apple tech and you have NOT helped ONE Apple user with their issue. Your phone works flawlessly?! Awesome!

To those of us NOT as fortunate as this guy, I feel your pain and hope that a fix comes soon...

Loyalty doesn't matter, facts do.

How much the phone cost doesn't matter, facts do.

I have directed people several times towards solutions that have involved patches applied by auto makers and other vendors and towards threads showing Android users experiencing the same issues with the same third party systems, something that, obviously, can't be Apple's fault.

Are there issues with iOS? Of course there are, but in general Apple has been good about working towards a solution when notified of them.

The additional insight is far more often than not the issue is with the third party peripheral; I've also given several examples in the past of how this can be the case when it was working "just fine" with an older phone or version of iOS.

You're incorrect, I have helped several people, and just the knowledge that many of the issues here are not universal helps point towards the direction of a fix.

This iPhone 11 is a complete bust and they have a very loyal customer seriously considering an Android phone now! Way too many of us having the same Bluetooth issues (especially vehicle hands free systems) regardless of the year and make of the vehicle. Own the problem Apple and make this right and stop giving out "new" replacement phones with the same problem!

No Chief...this thread is now 124 pages! How many people are having the issue and just have no idea that this thread exists? How many have gone by the Apple store only to get told that "your phone is fine" or "it's a problem with your car/truck"? I don't know how much Apple is paying you, but it is not going to change the opinion of folks on here dealing with a piece of junk phone that cost much more, but has much less functionality than the previous iPhone X.
