Apple Support Calls something new....

Keep getting a call labeled Apple Support voicemail says my iCloud has been breached and to contact them the call back number is 518-****-156. I have never received a call from Apple Support unless I initiated the call for a call back.

Apple does not make such calls. The callers are criminals using number spoofing to pretend to be calling from Apple.

It is a scam trying to get login details or have you grant remote access to a Mac (or other computer). These support scams want you to call back and agree to install a remote access app so they can gain admin remote access to “help” you with your issue. Instead, all they really want is remote admin access - often so they can lock you out of the device and then use a bitcoin ransom scam to unlock it for you.
