Custom Calendar Color in iOS13

I just got the hint to update iOS to 13.1.3 and then create a new calendar with a custom color. It's not the way it should be, but could help for now. I'm gonna try it myself tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Same issue since updating to iOS13. The colors show up when I check it on my Mac but on my phone everything that has a custom color is blacked out and defaults to blue on the calendar.

Having the same issue. The default colours that appear within the Calendar app work correctly, but when a custom colour is set, by logging into the browser and choosing a colour, this isn’t reflected in the calendar itself on iOS 13. It is just empty and without colour.

This is the same in both light and dark modes, and is reflected when looking at the list of calendars available in the app.

Sadly, that didn't work for me. :( I hope Apple fixes this soon. I rely heavily on my Apple Watch and since it syncs to my iPhone which is no longer syncing with Mac iCal, the colors are now incorrect on my watch.

Any word regarding a fix? I have several custom calendars and they are all brown now on my iPhone. On my Mac and on iCloud they are all reflected properly. Tried deleting and reforming, they still reflect brown and I can only change them to preassigned colors which is no help at all. They option for custom is gone from my iPhone calendar options as well.

also "custom colors" doesn't work properly - I set in #macos and #iphone doesn't reflect it correcly - even basic colors like "black and white" 🙈🙈🙈 - Apple please fix this

Same here since iOS 13. :(

When I use Spark Mail on my iPhone I see all custom colors. When I open the Calendar app, all custom colors are gone. Also the option for the custom color is gone.

Found the solution (for now): Update iOS to 13.1.3 and then create a new calendar by using icloud.com. Then the custom color will be available again. Hopefully @Apple will fix this bug soon.
