Apple Watch series 5 battery life

Updated to 6.1 this morning, charged back to 100%.

After 12 hours, around 3.5% drain per hour......which is about the same as before the update. ☹️

Yes for past 3 weeks my watch is rarely lasting more than 8 hours - very annoying

That is so rude of them. Have you tried explaining that you will go to whatever you call consumer affairs where you live?

So after several days with watchOS 6.1, I am sad to say that my battery life is even worse now. I never get through a day. By 19:00 the battery is drained every day. This is not a whole day watch.

Mine got lot lot better after 6.1

today I am 30% after 15 hours of use, with 1.5 hours workout.

I wonder if the issue is with the phone it’s paired to? Have you tried a hard reset of the phone or even better a different phone?

Change is coming; I now get 24-30 hours with my S5 where it used to be 12-16 hours. Keep monitoring the usual channels. You should know when it happens.

Battery life of 10 hours.

I am constrained by Apple from commenting further. I inadvertently got into trouble commenting further a few weeks ago; don't want to do it again.

I also traded my shiny new S5 in the first two weeks of owning it for a replacement due to battery issues; the hardware is not the problem.

My S5 is much better lately. When I go to bed at about 15 hours usage I now have about 25 - 30% battery left so I'm pretty happy with that.
