Testing transfer speeds

Hey guys,

So I have a home server (NAS) and I want to do some tests to see what transfer speed I get in different scenerios between my Mac and the NAS.

Scenarios include: wired vs wireless vs Powerline Network, SMB vs AFP, 2x different NAS brands, 2x router brands.

But i'm stuck at the first most basic step. On windows, when making any file transfer, it nicely tells you the speed at which it is transferring. This is not the case on MacOS and I cant for the life of me find where to enable the transfer speed UI.

Where can i see the transfer speeds real time? Ideal solution would be to permanently enable it to show underneath every file transfer. But seeing how useful that would be, I doubt MacOS does it :)
