I just noticed as I tried to go back in my texts with my husband that I ould not find photos sent by him before September 5th. Somehow after updating my phone...my texts are there but when clicking info...all of the photos exchanged do not exist. Help!

FOUND THE ANSWER -
Make sure that Messages is turned ON in your Icloud.
Go to Settings - <your name> - iCloud - and make sure that Messages is toggled green (on)
Make sure you are connected to wifi and plugged into a charger. It will take a few minutes but all of mine have reappeared.
I’m having the same issue. Lost all my photos when you press i under messages. I used to be able to view photos sent to others but not it’s just blank.
