I outright purchased an iPhone XR from Apple and chose for the AT&T sim to come with the phone. This was a few months back. Now I’m looking to switch to Verizon. Can I bring that phone with me if I get a Verizon SIM card?

I want to switch carriers from AT&T to Verizon and since my phone was paid outright from Apple, I was confused why it was showing I couldn’t “bring it with me” as the website said. Rasmee209 said I needed to request they unlock it, and they did within 5 minutes! Thanks for the help.
No, you need to contact AT&T and have the phone unlock from them.

You did connect it to your computer, restore it as a new device, and get the message, "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked."?
What exactly do you mean, when you say --> "Can I bring that phone with me ...", where?
In the US, Sprint, Verizon, and US Cellular use CDMA.
AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM.
