iPad files app not working

I cannot do anything in my files app for iPad Pro. There is no add folder icon. When I select a folder or file I cannot use any of the options like move, duplicate etc.

Folder icon number of files contained is wrong. I have a folder icon in Files app that indicates the folder contains one file. However when I open the folder it is empty. I need to fix this so can delete the folder. Also if you know a simple way to delete the folder I’d really appreciate it. I am running iOS 16.5 on a generation 6 iPad. On My iPhone Folder Missing When I launch Files app it doesn’t show On My iPhone folder. It’s only accessible from others apps’ share feature and even from other apps it doesn’t let me create a file in this folder. Is there way to fix this? iOS 12.4.6.
