anyone having issues with the new iphone 11 pro max - often click on the camera and it is frozen and just offers a black screen - messages froze this
morning - only way is to turn the phone off and back on again to clear the issue

Mine too - except my issue is in Contacts - if I search for a contact - it just freezes up. I close the app and it either remains frozen at the same spot or resets to the general view - very frustrating for a 2 day old $1400 phone.....

Constantly. The update fixed nothing. I contacted VZW and was offered a refurbished phone for one that is less than two weeks old. I’m done with apple and Verizon.
I have the same issue but it was with the apple email app.
No issues whatsoever with apps or camera, the image always pops right up.
Note that iOS 13.1.2 did address a lag in the camera image appearing.
I have been having it happen several times. Even has to hard reset it. It took so long to reboot I thought it wouldn’t.
Same issues but with different apps like accessing voicemail to find a black screen and noticing that email freezes trying to click out of a message. I think Apple needs another update soon.
Only go to an Apple Store never the carrier.
Same thing happened to me. Strange how apple wouldn't reach out to us all or formally record the issue to have it fixed
Yes. Same problem with me. It’s just ridiculous how we much so much money for a phone to have issues like this. Really regret to have changed from Samsung
I have the same issue on 11 Max. Very disappointing for a brand new phone. Hopefully software bug that is fixable.
Latest firmware helped 13.1.3 but it’s still not a complete remedy. Mine is still doing it but not as much and not as fatal meaning requiring reboot.
I have the same issue with maps and google maps when driving, and i end up missing my turn when it freezes like half a miles from my turn or exit.
How do I check for an incompatible app?
