iPhone 11 Pro Max - freezing issues

What!! Do you know how annoying that would be? Some people do a lot on their phones and have a lot of apps. Many bye these flagship phones for that reason. I paid over $1,000 for this crap I should not have to go through all that. That’s what the cloud is for (backup) to make switching to a new device easier. This is crazy! I want my money back to buy the S Note 10+. iPhone ought to be ashamed for launching this iPhone 11, it’s garbage!

Hi thanks for the reply. I have just deleted every app I’ve purchase since getting this phone. Will give it a few days to see if the issue happens again and will take it from there. I’ve only had the phone 3 weeks so it’s still within the warranty period.

I have been experiencing a steady flow of stalling and freezing issues since my iPhone 8, X and now 11

really bad. Messages, contacts are a steady pain. Thought it was fixed when I got my 11 but within a month it was back at it. I did not use any previous phone setups. Kept each phone new setup each time.

Also, Messages on my MacBook have been stalling steady and freezing for the last 3 MacBooks. I update with a new latest biggest MacBook every year.

I have the same thing with my 11 Pro. The screen just freezes, just now was about to send a text and it froze then when it times out the screen goes black and I have to do a hard reset. I have two of these and the other one is fine but this one freezes about once a week. Not what i'd expect from apple or for this price

I am having the same issue. The phone freezes and it takes a while before i can even reset it. It is pretty frustrating, as this blocks all calls and messages while it is frozen. I will take it back to the store as it should still be covered by warranty. It is just annoying when you spend close to 2K on a phone and it is defective.

It's not even 2 weeks since I got this iPhone 11 pro. It freeze out and restarts everyday.

God knows, what did I put my money into! Now I have to go round and round to the service center. About which I am sure, will be worth zero result.

Yes, it's some bit better for battery more than the last but the worst wifi & hotspot so far for me.

Took me 30 minutes to just get my old mac online which never had any issues with ANY connection before.

FREEZES! LOOSING INTERNET CONNECTION A LOT! NAVIGATION FREEZES!! Boss bought everybody in the office 🦂🤣 gold 11 iPhone Pro 512 GB GOLD and also mini iPads 5. 🙏 Both freezing a lot and sometimes cost me to accidentally deleting files by topping on the freeze screen and suddenly files disappear and I can not find 8 reports on my new iPod . I have TMobile switched to Verizon , neither have connection in downtown HB, CA. Spouse has some old Samsung beaten up phone 1 never loosing connection seating next to me on it. Ok, not 1 but 6 😄 He has a TMobile. TMobile did not work with my iPhone so I switched two months ago to Verizon, nit sure which worse. 🤯

Same issue. Any adjustment or camera function change the camera freezes. Has happened since month 1 of ownership. The whole point of the upgrade from iPhone XS was the camera, will be taking the phone in. Has apple addressed?

YES!! All my phone has been doing since I bought it 2 weeks is freeze! Can just about get through a message or taking a couple pictures before it freezes.

Not good enough when your spending £1200 on a brand new phone.

I have an updated ios 13.3.1 and it freezes and hangs way more than my 3 yr old iphone 7plus. Its quite sad that i spent twice as much for this phone to be this buggy. Heck my iphone 4 never had these problems

my issue is

when i swipe up for home, it feels laggy/slow response.

in locked mode when pressed powerbotton to wake the phone, it activates siri even in very short press...

tap to wake is also slow response.

all this goes, after a restart. however i dont want to restart my phone everyday. or twice or even more....

its so annoying! My phone is always lagging, crashes, I pick something and it doesn’t “click” so I have to repeatedly tab the screen and then it starts to load what I selected. Cellular data just stops working (I have Verizon). My iPhone 7 was better than this POS

I am having the same issue. Can look up a contact or send a message without freezing. I have had a replacement and all was well for a couple of days. Now that everything is closed I can’t get anyone on the phone. If I turn phone off it helps a few minutes. But as someone said I can’t do that all day long.

i have reset network settings and even did a hard rest on the phone. I’m at such a loss. Such a great phone...?? I’m struggling

I have had an 11 Pro Max since launch day and have never experienced any of these issues; I honestly can't remember it crashing at all.

The cellular data issue sounds like a Verizon issue as I've never experienced it on AT&T.
