iPhone 11 Pro Max - freezing issues

I have never seen this on my 11 Pro Max, nor on any demo 11 Pro Max I've ever played with.

A phone that restarts itself usually has a hardware fault, often memory.

I also had the freezing camera problem on my iPhone 11 Pro Max (other camera apps worked), until I realized that in my case at least it was happening when the phone got stuck in a “shake to undo” condition. Once I turned “shake to undo” off from the settings, it never had this problem again.

Forget about the Camera, I got my 11 Pro Max a month before and it got frozen twice till now while playing games and while sending some important mail and i waited for an hour and fed up and searched in Youtube for Iphone 11 pro max frozen screen problem

The solution is to press

1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. long press power button until you get the apple Logo on the screen

Hope they will resolve this issue sooner.

I got apple care protection, if this happens again I am gonna claim for new one

Have you tried to reset the settings? I did this because it said if you did a backup onto the new phone it could be that. I did the reset settings and it helped a lot! my phone doesn’t freeze anymore but I do still have the problem of swiping down on a message notification to reply to it (doesn’t show message, just gray box).

RESET the phone as a NEW phone ,

and don’t backup from the cloud.

download EACH app individually.

I went through 2 phones (iPhone 10 )(the second was a replacement), a new phone 11 pro .

This what fixed it .

After they gave me another new phone, (after 3 weeks from when I bought the new iphone 11 pro-

-bought out of frustration-

to get the problem fixed and downloading each app separately.

so a new phone won’t be the solution

since it seems like a software problem(a virus or whatever it is that I kept downloading from the cloud instead of downloading each app from the apple store.

They have to check it to tell you.

For mine they checked everything

but couldn’t figure it out , and they gave me a new one since mine was only 3 weeks old,

but like I said

was told to download each app separately.

that what fixed my problem.

since then no issues at all.

Most of the freezing issues are associated with the wifi connectivity. I found that once every 4-5-6 times that I return home or switch off and on the WiFi, the device becomes ridiculously unresponsive. If I manage somehow to switch off the wifi again, the problem is solved. typically the next attempt to connect to WiFi works.

However, last week I noticed another issue with the camera, I tried to capture a picture but the camera was unresponsive for the Photo (video worked as well as the Panorama). Tried a couple of times in vain. Had to restart the device.

I have been using Apple products for over a decade, this is by far the least reliable device

In response to the freezing issues of the iPhone 11+, I called Apple and spoke to customer service and they set me up with a technician who had me stop everything on my phone and he restarted my phone from scratch.My phone no longer freezers the way it used to. It no longer freezers at all. The only problem with having the factory restart is that when I reloaded all my apps, they were not on the same pages as before. I am very happy with how it turned out.

Make sure you’ve upgraded to 13.2 which solved all my issues

If your phone is really freezing for two to three minutes, you should take it in to be examined.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it does not behave in the manner you describe.

I did and I had to have a new phone .

But what made it work is that I did not download my apps from the cloud

each app was downloaded individually from the app store.

but after 3 phones for the same problem this worked.

I have had something like this a few times on the 11 Pro,

be that games or Youtube or Safari, etc.

Some time the screen gets locked on the

side or landscape... other times it refuses to load, just hangs.

I would try to clear ram with assistive touch and then -> restart

with assistive touch

OR shut down through settings general.

Latest firmware helped 13.1.3 but it’s still not a complete remedy. Mine is still doing it but not as much and not as fatal meaning requiring reboot.
